A great place to work
For the seventh consecutive year, Lenox Advisors has been certified a Great Place to WorkTM. Most recently, Lenox named an Inclusive Workplace by Best Companies Group in partnership with COLOR Magazine.
We are proud of these accomplishments, but even more important, we are gratified by the recognition that we are living up to the guiding principles on which Lenox was founded.
Prominent among these principles are:
- “Our people are the foundation of our company.”
- “Our team members’ families are an extension of our team.”
- “We care about the communities where our clients and we live.”
Throughout our history, Lenox has strived to be a collaborative workplace with a team-oriented approach to serving clients and our community. A recent survey of our employees indicated that we are succeeding in meeting this critical objective. Specifically, almost 90% of responders agreed that people at Lenox care about each other, are given a lot of responsibility, and that management is honest and ethical in its business practices.
Lenox Cares
Further proof of our commitment is Lenox Cares, our charitable organization run by employees. Lenox Cares provides financial support to such worthy charitable organizations as the Ronald McDonald House, American Red Cross and Covenant House. In addition, Lenox Cares offers employees the opportunity to volunteer their time and talents at the institutions they care about most.
Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Committee
Our DEIB Committee stands at the forefront of our company's commitment to foster a workplace culture that celebrates diversity, ensures equity, cultivates inclusion, and cements a sense of belonging for every individual. Our board is a testament to our promise to not only embrace these values but to operationalize them in every facet of our operations.
Our Progress
Empowerment Through Mentorship: We're gearing up to launch an ambitious mentorship program designed to create pathways for growth within our company. This initiative pairs emerging talent with seasoned leaders from the Lenox leadership team, fostering a knowledge-sharing environment that nurtures professional development and career advancement.
Charitable Activities & Support for Underrepresented Populations: Committed to making a difference beyond our walls, the DEIB Advisory Board actively supports charitable efforts and partners with programs that uplift historically marginalized groups. Our board drives corporate social responsibility, ensuring our growth is inclusive and benefits all communities.
Impactful Conversations That Ignite Change: Our DEIB Speaker Series is a touchstone of our work. This virtual event program conveys the urgency of addressing key diversity and inclusion issues faced by businesses in the modern world. Our carefully curated roster of speakers draws from a pool of seasoned professionals, academics, and thought leaders who share their in-depth knowledge and lived experiences, igniting lively discussions, and driving meaningful change.
As we continue to embrace the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging, we are not just looking at what we can accomplish today but setting our sights on cultivating a legacy of inclusivity for generations to come.
